I've had a good look around this site, seems great. So this is my first cry for help, and I hope someone can.....in my hour of need.

OK, first site, need a lil help.

torreviejaflats.com

A few CSS issues, in IE. None apparent at all in FF... so far

Firstly I can't get an embedded picture within the front page appears to be covered by the background colour of my CSS layout. FF displays this as I had intended with no problems.

Secondly, I used a straight line of colour for the footer in a graphic to polish off the 'box' model for my webcontent. So the graphics is set to be the bottom most graphics in my site. Sooo, it's works out fine in FF, buuuut IE just seems to tile it a few times any ideas ?

PS Thanks for reading.

remove one of these </a></a> line 13
1st Add height:1%; in #background to trigger hasLayout
2nd use
#bottom { background-image: url('bottom.jpg');font-size:0;height:8px;}

Yep, Nope

Half way there thanks to the techspertise of DanA,

The footer no longer tiles.

Any ideas on the disappering image from the front page in IE ?
It's like the background colour is layered on top of it.

Just for reference, if your problem gets sorted, feel free to edit your original topic to reflect that.
