Creative v. Apple

Sometimes I boggle at the things that people are getting pattents for these days. I would hardly think the menu system on the i-pod and thus apparently the Zen MP3 player it a revolutionary idea. Were they really the first people to think up this, or just the first to try and profit from it. :roll:
