Please can anyone suggest why the menu hops (jumps a couple of pixels) on hover?

Also, they tell me that this page breaks up in IE6 Windows 2000 - any suggestion on that too please?

Or any other comments?

Thanks

Why does my menu hop?

for the first problem i didn't look at the code, but i bet is some padding or border of either normal or hover state of menu item that gives you the "jumping".

check carefully if the hover state has the same border-width/margin/padding/font-size as the normal state.

for the second i can't help because right now i don't have the windows box available to test.

bye

Why does my menu hop?

The first item is caused by border-top and border-bottom here

#menu li a:hover, #menu li a.current {
background:#eaeaea url(img/menubg2.jpg) bottom left repeat-x;
color:#FFFFFF;
border-top:1px solid #b0b0b0;
border-right:1px solid #b0b0b0;
border-bottom:1px solid #b0b0b0;
border-left:4px solid #505050;
}

You need to either remove them or change the graphic height.

The second one, I'm using XP Pro but can see that

seems to break out of the side of the column. Exactly what are the problems you have been told about?

Can you split questions about different problems and give them their own posting please?
