Hello, my new site (blog) has problem appearing the 2 sidebars in IE only (Firefox is fine). The second (right) sidebar appears down after the first, while in Firefox both appear side-by-side. Please check:

I know it's a css problem since it appeared after I customized my css template.
Thank you

Please check. Problem with IE only

It might appear fine in FF but it isn't, you have some odd elements spanning the viewport.

The problem is that you have a series of bad errors in your markup, regardless of whether it's a css problem you must sort out bad markup first.

That photo flicker thing or whatever it's called is likely the culprit comment out all code to do with it and see if the problem clears up if it does you have your culprit and can work on getting it to behave .

You advise me to remove the flickr badge? Will this solve many of my coding problems?

I advise you to try some basic debugging , isolate elements that may be causing the problem in order to identify the culprit.

When we see markup errors or any errors for that matter they must be dealt with before proceeding any further, in this instance I am having an educated guess that it is the flickre causing the problems, but only you can determine whether it is that or not, just comment out the code so that it isn't processed.

OK I did that. Any help in debugging would be appreciated, while I will start trying to locate errors.

Thank you.

Server not found

Firefox can't find the server at www.nylon.gr.

  • Check the address for typing errors such as ww.example.com instead of www.example.com
  • If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
  • If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

:? The original link works fine.

I am still seeing markup errors, you need to address those and get them fixed if possible.

The layout seems to be fine in IE so did removing whatever code cause this improvement ? have you tried putting it back in ? this will identify where the problem is occurring.

Is WP 2 now generating a XHTML 1.1 DTD? it shouldn't really, 1.0 is as far as it goes with text/html
