So sorry to say, but a member of this forum has slandered me in another forum and I thought it was rude and deconstructive. Please see this thread link removed by triumph for details. I still like everyone here, and like to visit ocassionally when I am looking for idea's and feedback. I hope I do not offend anyone by posting this, I just think it is unfair to make someone feel as badly as he/she made me feel - especially when he/she said comments about CSS Creator.

Just because one of our 44,300 members has misunderstood a comment you made in another forum, is that really a good reason to spill it over into this forum? ...we get enough misunderstandings of our own to deal with, and I do not like having to view 'that' sort of picture just to understand what point you are trying to make

Oh dear, oh dear
Nobody likes to see that sort of language being used by anyone on any forum, private or especially public (where googlers may well come across it and form a very poor view of the identifiable poster, their business etc)
At least this forum beeps out profanity by OPs and responders alike and the moderators do their job very well.
Edit: as RTB has just done, whilst I was clearing my keyboard of a bit of chunder brought up by that picture.

That image is by Robert Mapplethorpe - a photographic genius IMHO... http://www.mapplethorpe.org - of course that particular image is not a must view for everyone... It happens to be a self portrait and the reference fits very appropriately into the context of that thread. Sorry to bother you roy. I just did not want a person to think they could get away with such mean remarks without repricussion. It makes your site look bad - And I had a great experience here in the past. I really want to be happy here - with his nasty remark - I did not feel welcome anymore and that made me very sad.

This is kind of odd roy - I was flipping through his webpage and found this:
It's not like the other photo - which btw I agree was in poor taste, my SOH on SE is a little hard-core - I should say I've learned today to post a disclaimer with such a brand of link... Or possibly not at all - that was probably my worst link ever. I spose it came from my mood-at-hand.

Er . . . . anyone else really confused by this? :?

Yes I was initially TPH, especially by that rather confusing forum/list layout, but now I have a lovely picture on my machine of a guy shoving something up his a*rse, thanks for that RobinAnne, now have to go off and clear my cache
When you post links that may give or cause offence RobinAnne you are meant to acknowledge the link with a acronym informing of that fact, this is a general forum convention (I can't recall off hand the actual acronym)
As for Robert Maplethorp being a photographic genius that is very much a matter of opinion and imho taking crude photos and then demanding that people credit you as a photographer of merit is just bull*hit.
Ansel adams, Cartier- Breson, possibly Annie Leibovitz, Man Ray these are more deserving of merit.
As for 'him' forget it, he has no more right here than you do and what is posted in that place has little bearing here.
Hugo.

This whole thread is inappropriate. Why bring something from another forum and drop it in our laps?
Locked and link removed.
