I don't often pass on this sort of thing, but this particular scam sounds very plausible, so I guess it doesn't hurt to publicise it for our UK members...

If you receive a card through your door from a company called PDS (Parcel Delivery Service) saying that they have a parcel awaiting delivery instructions and give you the contact number 0906 6611911...

DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER - IT IS A MAIL SCAM ORIGINATING IN BELIZE. IF YOU DO YOU WILL START TO HEAR A RECORDED MESSAGE AND YOU WILL BE BILLED £15 FOR THE CALL PLUS £1.50 PER MINUTE AFTER THE MESSAGE.

That's evil! Thanks Roy - we get loads of parcels through and assuming the card looked "normal" I'd have rung it.

My strategy is so simple an idiot could have devised it!
