Hi folks, just noticed that after I posted a reply to a thread here http://www.csscreator.com/css-forum/ftopic17355-0-asc-15.html I see that the time is displayed as

Quote:
9:52 am
but in actual fact it was posted at 10.52 am. I am in the UK and am on GMT time, so shouldn't the BST correction have been taken into account? Or do I have to change my profile?

I have posted quite a bit since the change-over to BST last weekend, but didn't notice if the other posts times were correct. Shock

Why don't you look in your profile options and see if anything looks like it might affect the 'Timezone' Wink

Does it really matter? I will still see your posts posted to GMT it's just the common reference, my posts show as being posted an hour ago.

The fact that the time zone needs to be changed twice a year for UK members is indeed a pain, and can be confusing if you are not aware of it. Such is the way of things when a forum has an international audience  There's no way the forum could pick up your system time unless it used JavaScript.

I come from East Kent, but that's as far as I will go with my location as I wish to remain anonymous in case I provoke some psycho-nutter during the course of my moderator duties.

Yeh, fair enough.

Well coming from East Kent explains a lot, I can see why you would want to remain anonymous. Laughing out loud Cheers mate. Wink
