Hi

I have my site completely changed into a (I hope) proper one... without tables for the layout. I just want to use CSS:

http://www.mge-windisch.ch/neu/repertoire.html

It works quite fine.... with all browsers under Windows it works! But by chance I noticed, that under MAC OS 9, Internet Explorer, I won't. The layers aren't aligned in the center.

What's my fault? Why does MAC OS 9 not work like the windows versions?

Simon

PS: I'm a Swiss... so please forgive my english Wink

<div>-Tags don't work with MAC Browsers?!?

Hi

IE MAC has its own way of centering. It is compatible with other browsers, but their versions are not compatible with it, so you must use the MAC IE way to center.

See here:

And you will probably see where you went wrong.

<div>-Tags don't work with MAC Browsers?!?

Hi

Eek. I can see one problem right away:

html {
height: 100%;
}

This will cause IE MAC a fit, do it like this instead:

html {
/* \*/
height: 100%;
/* above weird comment and this one must be kept in to hide from IE MAC */
}

As to the rest, very few folk here have MAC IE. I know co2 and lethaL do.

I changed the code you said... but the MACs still won't Crying

PS: I don't have a MAC at home too, but with http://www.browsercam.com you can see, how your site's looking under different browsers.
