Hi,

I’ve been trying to create a dropdown menu with CSS. It’s a bit difficult to understand if I simply explain it so I’ve attached two images to see what I mean. I want to show a div on rollover which contains several divs within (nested)! Combined they create a menu like dropdown list of several links! The width of the dropdown list/menu is 100% height could be fixed.

I’ve tried several methods from different sites but for one or other reason not able to achieve this effect which could be validated or compatible to most of the browsers.

I would really appreciate if one could sort this out for me … in know some guys on this forum can do it with their eyes closed.

Thanks in advance.

a very odd dropdown menu!!!

This is best done with nested lists (<ul> element). See the following url for some good techniques:

a very odd dropdown menu!!!

I've checked that site ... the problem is my dropdown is 100% in width (whatever the monitor resolution is) and has several columns of links!!
