another error I'm afraid!

Say for example, I log on in the morning and find CSS layouts has three new topics, with a nice new shiny orange square. I click on the third one down, and type a reply. When I go back to CSS layouts, instead of there being two orange squares, there's only one.

Call them posts 1, 2, 3 for now. I read post 3, and reply, which pushes it up to position 1. Instead of posts 2 and 3 being orange, only post 2 is.

That's another one that has been mentioned before.
My reply is now changing from when I have time, to if I know how. Smile

PHPBB just seems a little buggy on little issues like these and I would think a fair amount of valuable time could be wasted trying to track down and fix them up, this one has been around for a while as has one I find where sometimes a reply to a post I have posted in does not show up in 'since last visited' listings but in 'My posts' listings only but is intermittent.

Not worth loosing too much sleep over really.

Before you make your first post it is vital that you READ THE POSTING GUIDELINES!

I never have any trouble at work, but sometimes when posting at home, if I reply to something, it'll wipe everything off the newest posts list, other times it works as normal.

How to get help
Post a link. If you can't post a link, jsFiddle it.

If your web page is as clever as you can make it, it's probably too clever for you to debug or maintain.
