Is it just me or are any of you having problems with that little image stating I posted in a thread not to be at the right place?

In the "Beginner" section it's fine but in all the others it shows up on the thread above :?:

You mean the little orange box, but the small white box appearing in topics you posted in?

That's never worked properly for me, but I didn't notice it's one post up. I thought it was completely random, but if it is one post higher, then it shoudl be fixable.

it's not always one post up. I haven't found a pattern to it though. Sometimes, as karinne points out, some forums work correctly, but then later they're back to one or two posts off.

Yeah it's never worked for me either.

My strategy is so simple an idiot could have devised it!

What is it with everybody quoting other people in their sigs?

I want to do that too (stamps feet).

Roy must have said something funny sometime surely?

Oh I know, I'll be back in a moment...

Laughing out loud

Back to the thread subject... any chance this will get fixed. It's annoying really sometimes it's right sometimes it isn't.

Awesome, my age old quote is immortalised in a sig Laughing out loud

I don't bother that much looking for topics I post in - I always open every topic with an orange square, regardless of a post of mine.

But wait until Tony gets here, he'll sort it out.

This was originally discussed here, back last August when the feature was added.

Referring to the offset icons, Tony said, "I will have a look into it as soon as I have some time, which may not be for a few weeks." I'm sure he'll be getting to it just any time now. Wink

cheers,

gary

If your web page is as clever as you can make it, it's probably too clever for you to debug or maintain.

I haven't found any logical reason for it to display in the wrong place, which makes it really hard to fix.
It may be something like stickies, announcements, blogs, post edits are throwing it out.
