Greetingz,
Could the CSS gurus help me to figure out what is the right CSS code to 'hide' my original friendster profile so that I could overlay it?
As for myspace, this is the CSS code :
<style type="text/css"> .Main { position:absolute; left:50%; top:125px; width:800px; z-index:1; margin-left:-400px; padding:0px; border:0px; background-color:transparent;} </style>
and the overlay code :
<DIV class="Main"> <table style="width:800px; height:600px; cellpadding:0px; cellspacing:0px; border:2px solid silver; background-color:ffffff;}"> <tr> <td valign="top">All of your content goes in here, whether it be tables, flash, or whatever!</td> </tr> </table> </DIV>
I tried the code with friendster but to no avaiL!...
Any help?
Thanx in advance! :!:
Overlaying! =(
I don't really think they want you to be able to do any of this. They are branded for a reason. They have ads for a reason. The purpose of their site is to make money. Branding along with advertising is what makes them that money. Friendster is free for you to use but somebody has to pay for the servers and the upkeep. If you go around covering their ads and logos and copyrights and enough people do the same then friendster will go away. All of this is highly unethical.
If you want your own layout buy some cheap web space and make your own site.
