Yahoo has released to the public, a javascript toolkit and what it calls design patterns, both under the BSD licence. Both are general purpose toolkits and could be used on any website.

That's interesting, good on Yahoo (I think). Bit too drag and drop possibly, fueling those that don't want to put the effort in to learning and just want short cuts to web design? but maybe that's too scathing.
