I posted a topic earlier today and solved half of my original problem with some help from this forum. Here is the rule in question:

float: left;
width: 570px;
height: 275px;
padding-left: 40px;
margin-left: 50px;
margin-right: 75px;
color: #60247F;
background-attachment: fixed;
background: url(../Site_Images/text.png) transparent no-repeat;
overflow: auto;

The problem is that the background image in IE 6 scrolls, and I need it to be fixed. By applying the (background-attachment: fixed;) rule after the (background: URL ect.), it causes the background image to disapear altogether in IE 5.2 for Mac, Safari, and Opera. I cannot seem to figure this one out. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is the link to the css itself

Does anyone know any hacks or solutions or can point to what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance for your time and effort.
