I am wondering if anyone would be willing to help me with a layout using CSS. I made a PNG graphic of the layout I am looking for. Basically is would be a horizontal banner across the top with a width of 100%. Then the content area would be a set width of 650. Within that content area would be a top banner with a two column set underneath it. Lastly there would be a footer with a 100% width.

Thanks so much for any help you all could offer!

Possible Layout Help

I've done a very simple layout to get you started:

http://pub.c-o2.net/cssf/layout.htm

There will be pitfalls and obstacles if you elaborate upon this design. Mainly, the footer, and how it positions itself, and the wrapper div and how this works (plus how the content affects the height of the divs etc.)

It's a start though Wink

The next sentence is true. The previous sentence is false. Discuss...

Possible Layout Help

co2:

Thanks so much for the quick help. I'll play around with the layout you setup. I learn this stuff way better when I have a usable example to play with.

In case you are curious, I need the help for a possible re-design. I starting to think about re-designing my company site using CSS only. It is a big task, and may not be ideal with all the standards bugs, etc. But I thought I'd at least give it a try.

the site is: midwestautoworks.com

Thanks again!
