I'm just trying out Browsercam's remote access service today and testing out a site I've just finished.
It looks fine in all Mac browsers (apart from a little thing where the arrows for the 'read more' links on the home page drop down further than they should - ideas anyone?) except of course, IE5 Mac which has managed to mangle it completely.
I'm trying to feed IE5 Mac its own rules using this:
<style type="text/css" media="screen"> /*\*//*/ @import "/css/IE5mac.css"; /**/ </style>
which apparently only IE5 Mac can see and it works on my site, but it doesn't seem to be making any changes to the one I'm testing so I'm wondering if Browsercam has some cacheing issue that I can't get around.
So can someone take a look at http://www.nwfs.com.au with IE5 Mac and tell me if they can see a red horizontal line running through the middle of the page?
If you can't it means my Mac-only stylesheet is working and that I've got problems with refreshing Browsercam.
If you can then it means there's something wrong with it picking up the stylesheet and then I don't know what's wrong cos it's working on another site. :?

I see the red line.

How about making the background gradient fixed?

:? I wonder why this site's not picking up the Mac stylesheet?

Doesn't the commented backslash hide the next rule form IE/Mac?

No, it's s'posed to let only IE5 Mac see it. I dunno what was happening before, but it's working now and I seem to have fixed (kinda) the major issues.

This is what I was thinking about:

I didn't know it worked both ways.

Tyssen,
That is Tantek Celik's IEMac Band Pass Filter. If its from Tantek you can be pretty sure it works, and any error is from somewhere else. When I try to access the mac stylesheet directly I get a 404 error - so maybe that is the problem.
Triumph,

As it's from Tantek you can be sure it works seeing as the guy wrote IE5Mac, if any one can hack it it must be him

Hmm, you shouldn't do, cos it is there. It seemed like the problem I was having was with the browser on Browsercam cacheing the page from the first time I viewed it. I came back to it a bit later and it was working fine. I could upload a change, refresh and see it straight away. It was only with the very first session I had that I had the trouble.
