putting a background image from another website?

First of all, you have a double post which i'm guessing is just an accidental double-click of the button. Someone will delete the other soon i'm sure Smile

Second, it is possible to do if you know the url of the image. It's not a very nice thing to do morally, as it's their bandwidth you're using, so it would be better for you to download that image from its location and upload to wherever you want to use it. Be careful, however and make sure you are not breaching any copyright laws by doing that.

I hope that helped clear it up and i'm sorry if i stated the obvious to you Smile

Dan.

putting a background image from another website?

I have now posted to that duplicate question without realising that it was as such, can you take care when submitting posts sometimes you do have to wait for a few seconds for the response.

I will leave it there as my reply stands and I cannot be bothered to delete it.

I have however deleted the duplicate reply made by mjuville99 in this thread.

mjuville99 was there some point that you were trying to make with your reply? why have you quoted the poster back to himself?

If you have a point to make can you be clearer about it in future.

Just to re-iterate taking graphics from another website without permission is a bad practise even if it is seen as a common and acceptable occurence.

It is not though a practise that will be discussed on this forum and instruction in doing so will not be forthcoming.

Can we please leave it at that with this thread.
