hi,

i recently had a site designed by a friend that uses CSS.. and I want to add a table to it... finding it impossible.. i'll post a picture and hopefully someone can lead me in the direction to add a table in.... :?

Hi joec,
It sounds as though the top content element is positioned absolutely.
If that is the case you could position the new table absolutely or you could change the top one to position relative.
But without seeing the actual source and CSS it's hard to give anymore help.

Hi joec

After your column-direct div code, place the table code that you need. The parent tag/container of the new code need to have a CSS declaration of clear: right (because it comes after your floated-right column). Actually, you can but clear: both; for now, just to make sure.

So, if your table starts with:

<table id="aTable">
...

...Make your aTable CSS start with:

table#aTable
{
clear: both /* or right will probably be okay */
}

The next sentence is true. The previous sentence is false. Discuss...
