http://www.project14.co.uk/hosted/css/

Hey hey,
Long time lurker, first time poster, so be gentle. I'm in the initial stages of building a site, and I've come unstuck. I (like a lot of people I presume) am fairly new to creating standards based CSS layouts, and I've been bumbling along copying and pasting and using the great CSS Layout Creator on here. This time however I'm using the layout generator at Inknoise because i need to be able to select text (which you can't do with the divs from CSScreator.com).

Two problems i've come across that i need to fix.

In IE5.5/6 on a PC, there's some weird padding to the right of the small left column, affecting the text in the main column to the height of the left column.

In IE5.5 on a mac, the blue background of the main container div shows through at the bottom of the left column because the white coloured surrounding div doesn't extend to the top of the footer, only to the bottom of the text in the main column.

Help me Obi-wan Kenobi, you're my only hope.

Hi Phayze,
Looks like your experiencing the 3 pixel text-jog and luckily Big john has the answer, just follow the link above.

That should be one down I'll leave the Mac one for someone else, I have to get going to work.
