Well we are over a year old now and continuing to grow thank to some really helpful people. I have been trying to think of a way to thank the people who put so much of there time into helping others. So I decided to turn them into Gurus Cool
Here's the list so far in alphabetical order:
Big John
Daybreak_0
djomp
ClevaTreva
co2
paCkeTroUTer
Stu
Sven
Tony

I think I deserve it Smile.

There are many more that have been great over the last year and it was hard to draw a line in the list but I think I have chosen the ones who have been most active over the last couple of months.

If you feel someone else has been extremely helpful let me know.

Anyway thanks for all your help guys, keep up the good work. =D>

Wow, thanks Tony... almost reduced me to tears Laughing out loud (Maybe staring at the monitor for 18 hrs a day did that though Wink Shock Shock )

I wouldn't call myself a Guru since I am continuously learning, but I understand how hard it is grasping CSS. Takes time. I actually find that helping people out here keeps me trained up as well!

Keep up the good work everyone!! And of course, you're entitled to that Guru status as well Tony  Wink

Shucks cheers  Glad I could help a few people out.

You know you're a geek when you try to shoo a fly away from the monitor with your cursor.

Hi paCkeTroUTer,
With all the help you have given to people on the forum you certainly deserve to reach Guru status.
I just hadn't seen you round here for a while.

Hi

Don't often look this far down the first page forum menu Laughing out loud

GURU :!:

Well, I hadn't intended to make this many posts, it's just that I seem to learn more about css by looking at other peoples problems.

And, every now and again, some folk you help in turn help you out. Give what you'd hope to receive, that's what I say.

I try to say something helpful, but sometimes get the wrong end of the stick.

Trevor

Thanks Tony.

I don't consider myself as a guru though, just an amateur dabbler.
I don't study the rules and regulations all that much (just enough to get by), but I love to experiment.

Maybe when I have reached 1000000 posts then I might be classed as a guru. Wink

mAYBE i AM Laughing out loud

No, but a 'guru' knows it all, and with css I am just scratching at the surface (as I guess most of us are). CSS is too complex a subject to ever know it all.

But thanks for the stars, they look real smart.

Guru status on this forum is acknowledging the help you give to others.
It is not saying you know everything or always get it right.

I'm sure in the eyes of the people you have helped you would be considered a Guru and this is a way of saying thanks for all the effort you have put in.

We are all learning and hopefully always will be, otherwise it would get really boring. Smile
