I don't know whether a change has been made to the forum's CSS or whether it's something I've done on my PC, but today looking at the forum, any link inside a post (including the www buttons below the posts) has a pink background with a red dotted border.
But only in people's posts - all other links are normal.
I've installed the SearchStatus extension Roy mentioned in the Extensions thread and Google Talk since I last looked at the forum but can't imagine it would be because of one of those. And it's only happening on this forum.
Is anyone else getting this? :?

Links in posts coloured pink with red dotted border?

Shock I also installed the same extension, but I haven't seen such colors in a long time . . .

Laughing out loud That extension, "Highlight Nofollow Links"

This is my big chance . . . yep, I blew it . . .

That's the one! Thanks. Laughing out loud Strange that it only did it on this forum though.

Hi Tyssen,
Not long ago I set all links within the forum to nofollow.
Most forums don't have that set up by default.

That might explain why my few little ratty pages, which used to see the Googlebot 6–12 times a month, and had a page rank of 4 (mooching off Tony's rep), have been so lonely of late with the page ranks dropping to 3. Strangely, the directory is maintaining a 4! even with no inbounds links.

Tony, you're to blame for my falling rank!

cheers,

gary

If your web page is as clever as you can make it, it's probably too clever for you to debug or maintain.
