It seems that tables and divs clip the uppercase W's in IE when there is no padding etc. Once again a quirksome annoyance. Sure its only by about a pixel but its very annoying. Any ideas?

Adding:

text-indent: 1px

To the style H2 is ok, but sheesh what a dumb thing to have to do!

Here is the code of the page:

<body style="text-align:center;">
<style>H2 {
	display: inline;
	font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
	font-size: 11px;
	color: #4565A3;
	text-align: left;
	font-weight: bold;
}</style>
	<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0">
		<tr>
			<td><h2>Well, I start with "w" and Im cut off on the left</h2>
			</td>
		</tr>
	</table>
	<div style="width:413px; text-align:left; background: wheat"><h2>Well, I start with "w" and Im cut off on the left</h2>
	</div>

11 point arial cuts off in divs and tables in IE

Your code example seems fine in my browser, Safari and Firefox. Which browser? (I have come across this sort of thing before, but very rarely.)

The next sentence is true. The previous sentence is false. Discuss...

11 point arial cuts off in divs and tables in IE

I'm curious to any solutions for this as well... I've only been able to get the 'even numbered' font-sizes to work... 10px and 12px.

Anyone have a solution for in-between sizes for IE6?
