Hey everybody - I'm trying to generate my print style sheet to print all the contents of the page minus all the graphics. Everything in my page is inside of a container which is posing a problem for Netscape and Mozilla. It won't continue the contents on the next page, it merely cuts off at the bottom of the first page and calls it quits. Any Ideas? My issue in Opera is that it cuts off the right hand side of the page - it won't auto wrap even though I have all div's set to auto with a margin of 5% on the right.

Any help is much appreciated - thanks!

Hi

Have you got the height in the body set to 100%?

body {height:100%}

If that doesn't work, in the page container have you set the height for mozilla like this:

#container{min-height:100%}

As to Opera ????

Thanks for responding Trev. I tried the min-height attribute and the problem I have now is that it print super small so that everything is on one page. I need it to be bigger. Any more ideas?

Thanks.

Hi

Is this page online, or can you upload it so I can view it and see the problem and the code?

Hi

My mind must be made of swiss cheese, you know the stuff with the holes in?

The Gecko engine used to have a problem printing any container that had been floated, if it was longer than a page long. It simply gave up and went home at the end of the first page. You don't, by any chance, have an element that is floated and extends down the page do you?

To see if it is causing the problem, try changing it's float property to none. Here's a reference:

Any good?

I made all the floats: none and still nothing. Here's the css and the current problem. Everything is contained in the budgetcontainer div. Thanks a lot Trevor - you're a sweetie! Wink

Hi

Sweetie. Gosh. I do hope you're female Shock

What you posted wasn't enough. I am going to assume you don't have this page online, otherwise you could have given me the url. I am also going to assume (reading the screen shot) that the content is long, boring and not suitable for pasting into the message.

But you can simply attach the html and css to your post by adding them below your post.

How did you code the page BTW? What software did you use? It might help me to know.

Gonna wash some pans in a few minutes then watch ER. So be quick or prepared to wait a bit!
