Hi there,

I'm new on this forum which is one of the best resources for web designers especially for those who pass to CSS design.

I finally finish my personal site integrally CSS based.
Now, I think it takes more time to load every page... why ?

Every response is welcome and thanks all of you.

Marian

New CSS layout !

Hi

The site starts fine in IE 6 Win. In Mozilla it slides off the left side of the page if re-sized too narrow. You need a min-width argument in the body to prevent this (ignored by IE).

The mouse over menu on the left, the pop-ups are too high in IE, but fine in Mozilla (ie they appear below the menu). This is because of a padding/margin issue. I haven't delved into the css, but my guess is you used margin to space the text out. Bad idea. Different versions of IE are notorious at getting this wrong. Try padding instead. This is treated much the same. If line height is all you want to affect, you could also use that style attribute.

New CSS layout !

Thank you for reply.
I have made those changes.
This site is intended to be compatible with IE6, Mozilla 1.6 and Opera (last version)...
With older version like <IE5.5, <NN4.7, ... I didn't intend to make compatible.

On my PC I've tested on all browsers and it looks fine...

New CSS layout !

Works fine in Safari on OS X.

Hey, web4all, I noticed you're using ASP. Any pointers to making ASP.NET auto-generated HTML more compliant?

The next sentence is true. The previous sentence is false. Discuss...

There's quite a few folk with older browsers, if my web visitor stats are anything to go by.

I see you just moved the menu popup down a bit!
