The only thing I would change is adding some "feedback" when you roll over the links. Perhaps change the text color. Smile

Looks good. Will that vertical separator line repeat when the page length increase?

Looks great.

thanks for the comment! Tongue

im not seeing this feedback your talking about. And the lil separator line wont repeat as the page gets longer, and if it did it would look funny.

something im worried about is the separator line is only 504px, so if i have a side box that goes past that than it will shift over and throw my page out of wack, its kind of holding everything in place. Is their a way to make it so that the picture is only 504px, but the box height is 100% so as the page gets longer it keeps getting longer also and keeps holding everything in place.

Thanks

I'm not either. Laughing out loud I'm saying that maybe you should consider adding some feedback. Smile

lol, the header & buttons just look so nice that I instantly hovered them. Feedback would make it complete...
Maybe you should also change the h1 layout, they look pretty "standard".
Why not add a nice subtile background-image?
And make your code valid...

on my monitor the faint lines in the content are hard to see. they are almost not there. I find it very irritating on my eyes as I'm trying to seem them

in addition, I think they make your contact page unusable (because i can't see where I'm suppost to enter my details, and unlike many designs it's under and not next to your headings.)

but, aside from that I do think you have a clean design and I like the bold use of colour.

Viewed in IE6, Fx1.5 and Opera 8.02 it looks good. I get no distracting "lines" in the content area (on a TFT screen). but maybe the borders on the "content" boxes could have a little more contrast than the background.

I wonder if you have viewed in Firefox and increased the text-size. Unfortunately your h1s drop below and eventually disappear behind the content and the menu/nav bar goes just a little bit funky.

Don't know if these colour schemers will help you select a hover colour for the menu?

Your contact form seems intuitive enough visually, but the placement of text and input areas do not follow currently accepted usability standards and I don't think you have quite got the hang of <label>s. Check out what these chaps have to say:
straight forward css forms
accessible css forms

I like your design very much, particularly the header graphic. It certainly seems that orange is the new black. Laughing out loud

Larmyia, I get almost the same, except the input areas are coloured, see attachments.

I don't understand what you mean by floating in space (although maybe using fieldset/legend would help) and I can't see the faint lines that make the form unusable :?

ok, what I mean is that to me the form looks like this:

name

email

message

I see no input fields and I had to just randomly click around untill I could find where to input my information. but when I look really closely at the screen (like 1cm away from it going blind!) I can see very very faint lines. maybe it's my tft monifor...I don't know. but if that's what I'm finding, there have to be other ppl that'd be confused by it....

im ready for the test

thanks everyone for the comments,

i know the contact form is very hard to see, i plan on changing that to something more easier to see. And for my navigation bar you guys think i should make rollover buttons for those? Also someone said that the titles at the tops of the pages, it looks standard, i cant think of any other font that would look good, or any other color, i tried orange and green, to keep my colour sceme, but the only one that looks good was black.

but other than that im glad you guys like my site, i love it myself i think i came pretty damn far from my other templates.

heres in order from first template to the one i have now.
first

you def need rollover buttons. and I agree your black hx do look very harsh with your colour scheme.
