I have been messing with this CSS drop-down menu for days and can't get it working right in Internet Explorer 5.2 for the Mac. (It works just fine in Firefox, IE6 and Safari.)

I started with the suckerfish drop-down since it was the only one I could find that worked in IE5 mac. (http://www.htmldog.com/articles/suckerfish/example/)

I got it looking the way I want it to and working in IE5 mac. Here is just the menu:

When I place the menu in my layout things move around when you hover over it. Margins change, the hovered element drops down and floats left in Internet Explorer 5.2 for the Mac. (It works just fine in Firefox, IE6 and Safari.)

I'm baffled. I've spent hours removing styles and putting them back one at a time and I still can't put my finger on what is causing the problem. It seems like the menu is fine until I add some more styles to the style sheet and a hover element in the menu wants to inherit other styles.

Here is the directory containing all the files:

If anyone can give a hint as to what the problem is, I'd love you forever. Wink Otherwise I'll have to go with a javascript menu that Dreamweaver generates. Tongue

Thanks!
