I put up a utility site recently, and I'd like some [hopefully constructive] criticism on it:

http://ipoo.org/

It's supposed to be very light on graphics and non-textual media, but I hope it doesn't look too plain. There's some light javascript, so I wouldn't mind some pointers on the correctness/incorrectness of it.

Thanks in advance. (This is a fully-working site, so all the links and functions work.)

Looks good to me. Maybe a small graphic in the white space on the right just to liven the home page up a touch.

How to get help
Post a link. If you can't post a link, jsFiddle it.

Thanks for the tip

Thanks! I like that idea. Now if I just had a graphic to go there... I will think of something.

The site not only looks great, but the functionality is something that actually feels really unique to me. I might end up using this a decent amount, and I'll probably share the link with a few friends as well. Good marketing by posting the link here Smile

"good marketing" :? put's mods hat on and thinks...

Nice of you to let me know my IP address though Smile

Agree with Tyssen although I like sparse design there is an awful lot of white space, could do with something in there.

One little error to clear up; lack of 'type' attribute on the link.

I would maybe use an image replacement technique on the header to get a site title/description in there in event of no images and to title the top of a text rendered page, perhaps move the "what can you do " down to an h2.

P.S I suppose we let the brazen site promotion go this time Cool
