Hi folks,

I've been doing CSS for about 6 months now and I find myself constantly re-evaluating how I build stuff. Can you guys look at this and let me know what you make of the CSS? these are works in progress - and hints and suggestions would be mucho appreciated if you have the time to spare

Am I on the right lines?

Very nice looking sites both of them. I like your style. Laughing out loud
Comments I'd make about Taza:
The slower loading of the Flash leaves you with a big empty white space at the top for a while.
On text resize you get a scrollbar in the little lamplit area to the right. I know there's not much you can probably do with that though as it's got a fixed background image.
As for Cedars, the only thing I'd say is maybe the nav background should stretch with the text when you resize the text.
All these are just minor points though.

How to get help
Post a link. If you can't post a link, jsFiddle it.

Cheers

Thanks for your comments.

I think I'll be leaving the scrollbars on the right image but I'm going to try and do sth about the Flash. I'm trying to work out how to get a really simple preloader on the go so its not totally blank. Flash not really my thing!

THanks for the comments about cedars also. Will sort that out.

Hi. You have some very good graphics in your sites and I believe you're "work in progress" is progressing very well. I very much appreciate the way you can make your images interact with the your content-- I actually have so much trouble trying to achieve that effect in my designs although I've been using CSS a little longer than you. Great work you have there so far. Laughing out loud

Am I on the right lines?

Hi
Excellent sites. I have nothing to add to what others have said, except to nit-pick a bit about the Taza site.
in the nav bar - 'facilities' is spelt wrong
in the header graphic (except on the home page) - 'selection' is spelt wrong.
