Laughing out loud

I think I have a problem. It seems that when I start a thread it dies into page 2 with numerous views and no replies.

Are my questions just stupid or am I not wording them properly? Are the words in my head not making it to my fingertips? Laughing out loud

It happens on other forums, too.

Getting a reply is like pulling teeth

I'll assume you've carefully validated your plaint. Will you please give a link or three to threads that would serve as a test case?

You would have known to do that had you read the stickies at the top of the various forums. Further, you should read "How to Ask Questions the Smart Way".

Seriously, show me the threads, and I, for one, will perform an autopsy on the little boogers in hopes of finding the cause of death.

cheers,

gary

If your web page is as clever as you can make it, it's probably too clever for you to debug or maintain.

Nah, it's not just here it's on all the forums that I visit.

I hope I didn't come off as high-maintenance or needy. Laughing out loud

I admit that on some of the forums when I click that "posts since last visit" button I do skip over certain names because I know their post is going to be "ignorable". Am I one of those people? Laughing out loud Laughing out loud Laughing out loud Laughing out loud

Hey, maybe it's some form of "karma"! Shock

Needy, maybe. High maintenance? Nah, not pretty enough to get any maintenance. Well, Lorraine seems to have time on her hands. Wink

See? You still haven't provided the needed info to help you find an answer. You really should give us a link to a thread (on this site) where the answers were slow in coming. You could be doing a poor job of asking, or nobody likes you or something else, but we can either help you figure it out or you can just whine on like a newbie. Smile

cheers,

gary

Not any more, Mark!!!!! Not with that avatar, me 'andsome!!!! Just analyze the names of the people who reply and watch the ladies flock to you!!!!!!!
Hint - some women think it's clever to hide their gender with butch names!!!!!!! but they let themselves down 'cos women are famous for over-emphasising everything!!!!! but everything!!!!! and I do mean absolutely everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Tongue

I tell everybody I'm a doctor. I have to beat 'em off with a stick.

You need to find an avatar with a smile. Your current image makes me think I should lock all my doors and board up my windows. That might have something to do with the karma of "no luv". Wink

Seems like you tell 'em TWICE drhowarddrfine, so you've got to expect a bit of an initial rush. It's the repeat visits that would really tell you what they think, though Smile

I found some (enigmatic) smiling pictures of Triumph's twin brother.
