Firefox 1.5

At last; lets hope they fixed up all those little problems like memory leaks and boosted the speed a little.

If you want to run more than one version of FF at a time, install each version into a new folder and then create batch files with this:
@echo off set MOZ_NO_REMOTE=1 start "" "Path to each version's folder\firefox.exe" -p set MOZ_NO_REMOTE=0
That pops up the profile manager window each time and then you can create different profiles for each one and away you go.
Firefox 1.5
Wow, definitely faster!
I may make the switch from Safari.
Firefox 1.5
They hadn't updated all the pages :roll:
So report please before I install and loose all my plugins, any problems ? does the beloved Web Dev Tool bar function, are all my 37 extensions going to work ? and pray tell me why they are still listing 1.07 and as "Windows, English (British) and 1.5 as "Windows, English"
Are we down trodden British only allowed to run 1.07 then ? are we to be denied the pleasures of 1.5
An upset but proud Britain

Things like WebDev and Tabbrowser Prefs work with 1.5 but a lot of others don't. However, there is an extension for 1.5 called Nightly Tester Tools (it's mentioned in the essential extensions thread) which makes all your 1.0.x extensions & themes compatible with 1.5.
Firefox 1.5
LiveHTTP works as does webdev and IETab. I didn't reinstall them. They worked after uninstalling 1.07, deleting the moz folder and then installing 1.5. Kept all my booksmarks and I'm cool. But you knew that.
Firefox 1.5
Active-X isn't there yet as far as I can see:
http://www.iol.ie/~locka/mozilla/mozilla.htm
Sadness. I've downloaded it, but will hang back till I get my Active-X content working.
