Hi Everyone -

I would like to have my text display with a drop shadow using CSS

can this be accomplished?

if so - how... code sample would be appreciated.

Text and a drop shadow

i have never seen a "drop-shadow" on any text which describes it (as the link to the w3 above), and furthermore, never ANYWHERE in html text styled by CSS.

i do, however, see the "eclipse" looking thing there just below the anchor at the link above. where is the plain "drop-shadow"? is it a case of no browsers support it yet? i don't get it.

a drop shadow, otherwise known as text-shadow in CSS is only viewable in Safari to my knowledge, so you're going to have to stick to image replacement for text and you could create a drop shadow effect using borders, but it doesn't look too great.
