Hi

Here for another design ripping please.

[link removed by poster]

Also would need some checks on a few different browsers if it's no trouble.

Thanks

PS. I am worried about the footer background image which has the bottom half of the outer shadow on it which may not line up with the shadow background of the wrapper in all browsers as it uses vertical lines, Firefox as usual displays perfect. others I am guessing will not.

I think it looks great. Good job. I'd go with a bit more contrast on the header to make it more readable.

The footer breaks out of the bottom if you increase the text size.

Overall, nice work.

It's looking pretty good in IE & FF to me as well. Only a couple of points I'd raise:
1. There's horizontal lines through your main nav links in FF, but not in IE. Also, they don't all appear to be centred on the word in FF and they also move down when you resize the text.
2. Not a fan of the underline through the middle of words on links, but that's just a personal preference thing.

Hi

Wow this is the first time anybody has liked my design. I am chuffed.

Strange I couldn't see the line through on the main nav because I use Firefox. Though I have added text-decoration:none to the #nav li a {} which should take care of that (I hope). Strange how even firefox can render differently on different machines.

So yeah the underline through th word I think goes with the rough design feel of the site so in this instance I think it's OK.

Will make the title font darker because both you and the bass player said it would be a good idea. Problem is PSPX crashed and I couldn't save the master so will try do it wih a fill or something but not just yet.

Think the footer only breaks out on three increases with Firefox so I think that is acceptable.

No problems with the background lines matching up around the footer? Used a dodgy technique I think.

Cheers for the tips so far.

Well, yes, now that you mention it. It does seem to be off a px or two in IE/Mac, Safari, Omniweb and Opera but looks fine in FF/Mac and NN/Mac. See attachment.

I'm going to take a guess and blame it on a rounding error

	width:619px;

Use even numbers with width if you are centering using margin:0 auto;.

Maybe...I didn't test it. Smile

Nice site. I can't say I care for the strike-throughs either. I'd suggest chaniging that. The squiggle on the main nav isn't much more likeable (for me) but the strike-through just doesn't cut it in my opinion.

I was checking out your version 2 (I like the current one better) but I must say, v.2 was pretty cool. Almost freaky the way you did the banner. Rips their eyes out almost.

I rather like it. (although there's a sort of pyjama vibe going on!)

Far as the strike-throughs go - I agree with everyone else on that - although I think it can look good if applied only to the visited links.

The stripes/footer problem is definitely there in IE6 and the stripes in the Live Dates box are slightly misaligned with the heading.

Good job Jo.

My strategy is so simple an idiot could have devised it!

I'm surprised, if you other sites are this nice that is. It's really good, I especially like the header area.

Although to add to other comments, the squiggely strike throughs work ok for me on the main menu items for me but not on the normal links.

Also I am not sure the stripy wallpaper on the music pane works, maybe I would make it a tad feinter or something, it just looks a bit too regular compared with the rest in the info part being all slightly askew.

Hi Guys

Worked at it and think it looks more pro now.

Changed the nav, title banner and header images.

Also got the body background to match with the footer background which I think is a pretty good thing.

Think I can wrap this one up soon as I finish the guestbook.

Cheers
