Here's a link to the latest version 1.2 of the Web Accessibility Toolbar, which is to IE what the Web Developers Toolbar is to Firefox.

Should be useful for site testing and IE bug hunting. Wink

Web Accessibility Toolbar for IE

Yes it's really great when you can get the d*m thing working. Really frustrating when you can only get it working on IE5 and not IE6 Sad

There's a few items that the web dev toolbar could do with.

Anyone have any bright ideas as to why it shows as installed and checked in the toolbar list on IE6 Win XP yet refuses to actually show?
turned the registry upside down looking through all the cslid lists BHO as I figured that it was being blocked as an add on helper object, copied the DLL to the system32 folder, and countless other avenues but can not get it working, driving me up the wall, no help on the authors site either as to possible problems :?

Have you not come across it before Tyssen; it's been mentioned quite a few times before, here on the board.

Nope, first time. I guess I haven't been paying close enough attention.

Web Accessibility Toolbar for IE

Thanks for sharing Tony.

The MODI Dom inspector is nice under the <source> button. "Outline block level elements" like FF's Web developer's Toolbar would be top notch, maybe I just haven't found it.

Thanks again, for sure a keeper.

Any other IE tools that I should know about?

This is my big chance . . . yep, I blew it . . .

I had to right click on the IE toolbar and check "Accessibility Toolbar." Not real obvious Laughing out loud

Yes done that, in fact it was checked by default yet does not want to actually show, it's very odd. Have yet to try version 1.2 though but I have a feeling it's still not going to work.

Edit: Ah well there you go I was wrong 1.2 has worked. Seemed this time to register the DLL , which I don't recall it doing on the previous install :? odd though as it would have been raised as a problem if that was the case, did have to deselect and reselect the check mark on the toolbar entry though to get it up and running.
