Finished this site a few weeks ago.
I am adding in a voting system as we speak, as suggested by Tony.

Comments? Ideas?

Hi

You allow tables based sites to qualify for plaudits?

Yes, if the design is good enough.

Keep in mind that this site awards generally well-designed sites.
Validity etc is not too important, but does help.

There's no submit form.

How to get help
Post a link. If you can't post a link, jsFiddle it.

Ahh yes, I forgot to mention.
The submission system is being updated.

To submit new sites, just email

You might want to mention that on your site as I notice a couple of people have used the comments link to submit their sites.

Yeah, actually the last post reminded me to do that, I almost forgot!

The thing that struck me straight away - is why is it so narrow?

I make it 500px wide - that's both columns.

It's so narrow for two reasons.

a) There was no need for large columns, since each content item is only one image.
b) I wanted to make a unique desgin, that would stand out from other design showcase sites (since there are quite a lot of them out there)

I guessed it was a deliberate design decision, but thought you deserved my impression Laughing out loud

Its the second very narrow site I had visited in the last couple of days, both required lots of vertical scrolling (the first)

Hrmm, is it a problem?
Maybe I should put only 5 articles on each page?

Scrolling isn't that onerous. If I am the only one who notices, I'm prepared to put up with the site as it is Smile

Have to admit that like Chris I find it a little on the narrow side but I could live with it if things were a little more balanced, I would prefer that the site images were a little more centered rather than stuck to the left edge, the sites titles can remain to the left. Just feel this would look better.
