Just a quick one this time.

When XP is installed along with IE6, what is the View>Text Size> setting set at? I have it as Medium.

This may explain a problem that I have been trying to sort out, the problem may be in the visitors config, not my coding. :?

What is the default font size in IE6?

Hi

It is by default set at medium.

IE will re-size the text unless the font size is set to pixels or points, I think. It's the reason so many people use images as buttons with the text overlayed in the paint program. That way it cannot re-size.

When I had a site (long since dead) I used to suggest users with accessibility problems (ie like to use larger font sizing) use Opera, which I believe is now free. It re-scales sites in a much better way (like a true zoom feature).

What is the default font size in IE6?

Thanks, that's just what I was thinking. I'll suggest that he uses Opera OR FireFox, or reset the IE config. After all he said that it displayed OK when he did reset to Meduim, but insists that Large is default. Oups
