Consult Grupp

Well, the web page is 99% completed and actually I have been paid for it as well. But I feel like something is missing...
And it will come in 3 additional languages.

So, all blasting commentaries are welcomed.

And oh yes, the content - website is about collecting debts, legal aid and juridical services.

Hi

The only possible thing I don't like is that, in 1024x768, the index page should try to fit to page without scrolling. This happens because of the blurred bit in the header being so deep.

What does Esilehele mean? Home Page? Because that seems to be the only function for that obscured briefcase.

yes, esilehele means 'to home'.
And that briefcase actually doesn't play the common role of that it has as a symbol. It's something else. Maybe smth like 'You're already packing? Business flushed down in toilet... Wait, let's talk, perhaps we'll find the out of this together' Tongue
I don't know, at the time I thought something must be there...

I like the overall look but not too sure about that suitcase. Looks kinda odd the way it's isolated like that.
Also not too sure about the double up of navigation. I can see why you have it cos your content is so far down, but in most cases a secondary set of navigation would be for submenus.
I also think that after the home page that maybe all that space taken up with the header would be better utilised to display content as you have to scroll a bit to read stuff on every page.

I think the body's background image could use more contrast to the main content. I think the lighter colors in the background should be darkened, it is too shocking . . . 100% opinion . . . for what it is worth. Wink

This is my big chance . . . yep, I blew it . . .

First of all, tnx for your thoughts.

1. The body bg (on the top) should indeed be darker. At this moment it's a bit controversary - the dark colored texture at the top asides, and the rest of the body's bg (just color, very dark gray) demands that the body bg image should be def darker than the header image.
2. I haven't asked the client about the briefcase yet. Maybe she likes it. Will see.
3. And talking about header - I think perhaps at the home page it could be as large (the height) as it is. And on the other pages I believe I should resize it a bit. I guess about 30% or so.
4. The sub nav - as there's not much of a content on the website, I had to create it. There's a page 'teenused' where we have a list of services and as you can see here the sub nav has a role to play.

And as usually - if you get a project like this, not exactly loads of information - you have to make it up with some design elements. At least, that's what I think. I really prefer to have overdose of text material, but if it's missing... what's you going to do...

Will consult with the client today and you'll see the changes (if needed) shortly.

Yeah, that'd be what I'd probably do.

made few changes.
Still not quite satisfied with body bg...

I was thinking about the positioning of the language selector.
My client told me that the best place would be somewhere in bottomin her mind. I must say not exactly the most common place...
I think somewhere in left sidebar would be great.

Suggestions?
