Been looking into re-designing a site using CSS and would like your opinions...
Current site: http://www.tcsnd.org
CSS Design:
http://www.tcsnd.org/newsite/fred_navbar.asp
http://www.tcsnd.org/newsite/fred_buttons.asp

The menu items don't go anywhere... and there is nothing there as far as content... just the basic template idea
thanks

Hi rmfred,
In Netscape you have a few positioning problems with the buttons and menu.
Looking at the source you have things a little mixed up. It looks like you cut n pasted a couple of pages together.
There are multiple body tags divs before head tags, styles in body.

Trying to validate might help clear up some of the errors.

Hope that helps

Thanks Tony...
OK... now what... the two pages and the css validate as per
http://validator.w3.org/
http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator-uri.html

BUT... the design looks like CRAP in anything except IE.
So.. it seems that a validated page is not the cure all... what would you suggest I do? Start picking it apart and look for ways to "hack" around to suit the other browsers? I'm not even sure where to start Smile
thanks

Hi rmfred,
There's not that much wrong, just the top menu to decide on and position.
What else do you see that needs fixing?
