For ages now I've kept IE7 on my PC, since it's been a bit problematic for me in the past when testing my work on different browsers. A while ago I lost access to IE6 when my husband's old laptop died (I made him keep IE6 on there so that I could use it for testing, since it made no difference to him. He's not much of a computer person). I also tested newer versions of IE on friend's computers, or came here to ask others to help check things for me. I use my Mac to check FF, Safari, and Opera. Now I'm wondering... should I maybe replace IE7 on my PC with IE9? Are most people using IE9 these days? What is the most commonly used version of IE, particularly in the western world? What do you think?

I appreciate whatever thoughts or advice you can offer.

You'll need more than one

I suggest doing what's talked about in this Smashing Magazine article.
