Hello,
What does this mean? "slice for web"? I keep seeing this and I want to make sure I am duplicating - is this have to do with photoshop???

It would generally refer to taking a graphic and producing a section of that graphic (slice) that can be applied to a html element. Graphics that form a web site page are commonly placed as a series of slices of the original that cen be applied individually as backgrounds to elements building up to recreate the complete image as viewed in a PS mockup.
