My portfolio page has a strange centering issue with IE.

Chrome, Opera, Firefox, and Safari all render the site correctly. Any help appreciated.

monocarpic, can you please

monocarpic, can you please explain the problem, it is not obvious to us. Also, validate your code!

First basic few steps in building a webpage
1. Gather and collect content.
2. Organize the content into meaningful semantic valid HTML
3. Design the prototype
4. Style using CSS

The normal browsers center

The normal browsers center the 1001px fixed header/footer. The abnormal substandard backasswards browser, IE, does not know how to deal with margin: 0 auto 0 auto?

Could you please see the site in IE and then in Firefox? You'll see the difference immediately.

Guru, I'm working on that,

Guru, I'm working on that, but it's all minor stuff like <p> inside an <a>... and that's rendering/working fine for now.

Currently, the centering issue is the biggest mystery.

It looked the same in both.

If it's a 1px difference don't try to center something with an odd numbered width.

yet again.
