I am new to CSS and trying to support delivered web pages that are now using CSS. The CSS is working for IE, Firefox, Chrome, but when we try to print from SAFARI on the MAC the print preview comes up and then everything freezes. I am assuming that there is something on the print CSS that is not working for MAC SAFARI v4.0.4.
I am thinking that the problem may be something with either the padding or the background, If I disable CSS and Javascript then the pages print fine.
We originally had problems with the newer versions of Firefox printin multiple pages and I found that if we added float : none; fixed our problems. I am hoping that there is something that I need to do different for SAFARI on the MAC for CSS.

I'm not aware of problems with printing in Safari4/Mac. I take it the problem isn't present in Safari5/Mac?

MAC safari freezing web page when trying to print
Web page works in safari 5 on my PC , I only have access to a MAC with safari 4 so I do not know if this is happening there also.
the class search web page is one of the pages that freezes SAFARI that is accessible from our main web page

It doesn't work on
It doesn't work on Safari5/Mac. Freezes the browser tabs. You can still access menus and options that aren't connected with tabs seem to work, but rendering and browser windows seem frozen.
Printing to a pdf completes, but the pdf is empty.
