This is soo funny. Remembering how I did all of these things, really well. I was the animated .gif master! I made animated gif backgrounds that did all kinds of crazy *beep*.

Erm... fibber. There was no way that was built in 1999 and there is a very particular reason I can state that emphatically - it validates and to a xhtml schema that hadn't reached candidate recommendation by that time

Back then no real Web Master would have had a clue about valid code, or DTD's. There were only two browsers and one of those hadn't a clue what a DTD was! and nor had most of us Smile

Still it's a classic example and has clearly stood the test of time being that it appears to be still running live, is it not time to revisit client and offer upgrade Smile

I tried the 3D but got a 404 Puzzled I could only get the other little site and the 6 or 8 pics - everything else 404-ed on the "web" page.

I'm not sure, but I'm pretty certain I built that before I was out of high school. I grad-e-ated in '02, so it was sometime before that... I haven't talked to the owner since then... The owner of the company is a guy who used to own and run the HalfLife TFC server I played on.
