Hi,

I'm currently working on a site http://www.test.webpolish.nl

I'm currently testing the site in ie7 and the layout breaks on certain pages like

http://www.test.webpolish.nl/blog-overheid/21-ambtenaren/1-communicatie-maakt-bedrijven-sterk.html

My sidebar is below the main content. I thought it had to do with the float clearing bug for ie7 but even when the sidebar is shorter then the content the layout breaks. Other pages work well by the way.

In my ie7only stylesheet I put:

*:first-child+html .clearfix {
min-height:1px;
}

for clearing the floats that I put on some of my divs.

What else can it be? What am I missing?

Hopefully someone can help.

Thanks in advance

Tony

Solution to problem

Thanks Tony,

I really didn't think of this as I was 99% sure it was an ie7 bug but fortunately it wasn't. It didn't work because with an override for this "page" I made some changes and by mistake replaced the

and

with a div-tag. I wasn't thinking.

I validated the page and saw what was missing. I corrected it and no problem anymore in ie7.

So thanks,

Sandra
