Hello, I've been really trying to get this .gif image as the background of my drop down menu. It works in FireFox but not IE 8. When the page first comes up, it works but as soon as I enable ActiveX, the menubar isn't aligned anymore and the background just becomes a white box.

Here's my HTML Code

<div class="Menu" style="width: 949px; height: 59px; position: absolute; top: 201px; left: 48px">
          <ul id="MenuBar1" class="MenuBarHorizontal">
            <li style="z-index: 2; left: -17px; top: -18px"><a class="MenuBarItemSubmenu" href="#">
			Studies</a>
                <ul>
                  <li><a href="#">Item 1.1</a></li>
                  <li><a href="#">Item 1.2</a></li>
                  <li><a href="#">Item 1.3</a></li>
                </ul>
            </li>
            <li style="z-index: 2; left: -14px; top: -19px"><a href="#" class="MenuBarItemSubmenu">Calendar</a></li>
            <li class="style2" style="z-index: 2; left: -11px; top: -18px"><a class="MenuBarItemSubmenu" href="#">Directory</a>
                <ul>
                  <li><a class="MenuBarItemSubmenu" href="#">Item 3.1</a>
                      <ul>
                        <li><a href="#">Item 3.1.1</a></li>
                        <li><a href="#">Item 3.1.2</a></li>
                      </ul>
                  </li>
                  <li><a href="#">Item 3.2</a></li>
                  <li><a href="#">Item 3.3</a></li>

I've been trying for the past couple of days to tweak it but no progress.

This sounds like an issue

This sounds like an issue with switching to and from compatibility mode.
