Hello!

I'm a novice web developer and I've been building a website for a client:

www.draindoctorbirmingham.com

The problem is my dropdown menu. It looks great in IE 8, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera but when it comes to the not-so-compliant IE 7 and below, I have problems. Little gaps appear around each

  • on my child elements, and when you hover your cursor past the first child element, the menu closes.
  • I've tried implementing fixes, from the CSS pseudo-element hover fix, to fiddling about with the CSS for hours, all to no avail. Here's what it looks like in IE 7:

I am completely stumped, so I have come here, cap in hand to see if any of you geniuses can help me determine and hopefully fix the problem!

    Kind regards,
    Mike
