Hi All,
At one time I had the footers looking like this:
But at some point I lost the layout and it looks like this now:
I wonder if it also is the same reason why my horiz bars in the header do not show up now either?
Please ignore other (validation) errors you might notice that don't affect these issues. I am discussing the validation errors in the body in another post.

(The choices available are governed by the maximum file size selected in the [Settings] area of the “Administration” block. Currently, WOU’s server limit is 100MB.)</p> <p><span class="redbodytext">"Allow deleting"</span> - Selecting "<strong>Yes</strong>" will enable students to delete uploaded files at any time before submitting for grading.</p> <p><span class="redbodytext">"Maximum number of uploaded files"</span> - sets the maximum number of files each students may upload. (This number is not shown to students. It is considered a best practice to remind students of the actual number of requested files in the assignment description.)</p> <p><span class="redbodytext">"Allow notes"</span> - Using this option permits students to enter notes into a text area associated with the assignment. After the assignment is sent for marking, it can no longer be changed, unless the instructor chooses to revert the assignment to draft status. You cannot declare an ID
You cannot declare an ID twice!
However Rene you must provide more info than you have, don't expect us to be human validators, I'm not prepared to read through someones markup and validate as I go, picking up obvious errors such as above fair enough but it's not really an exercise I nor many others will do for you as there are such things as validators to do this and which you are aware of, also when asking a question such as this you MUST post both CSS and Markup as the two are related one without the other is meaningless, or provide a link to the page live.
As far as things go I can't provide any further answers as to what may be wrong, but always one must have a valid page before one attempts to troubleshoot perceived issues.
