DW Wrapper Display Error?

Hi,

Thanks as always.

I've been tweaking the layout of my pull-down menus (with thanks to Tyssen) but I have one layout problem which I've had for a while I never got to the bottom of...

In my Left Col Div anything that's outside of the wrapper does not display in DW but seems to be fine in the browser?

I use DW on OSX to edit my site and I'm not sure this might just be a display thing? However, I was on a Windows machine using IE before xmas and the problem seemed to be live, until I did a couple of refresh's.

Has anyone came came across this before (I know DW Design view is unreliable), and could someone reassure me they can see the whole page.

The following is just a test page, but it displays an example of what I mean.
I've simply cut and paste a few entries into the left col, but the last entry should read February 9th, and "This is the last line".

Dreamweaver is not a browser,

Dreamweaver is not a browser, and how it displays your code does not matter and should be ignored. No one will use Dreamweaver to navigate to your site.

You really should never use the Design view in Dreamweaver for anything but a very rough quick check. You should certainly NEVER ever use it or allow it to generate code,

I know Design view is pish.

Well that sounds like an issue with Dreamweaver, and we are not a Dreamweaver forum. Maybe you should pull out a simple text editor and use that instead. Such a problem, as far as I can see, will have nothing to do with html or CSS, which is what we are here to help with. Maybe you should ask on a Dreamweaver forum.
