Differences in image positioning between webkit and firefox: image or text problem?

I have a couple of li elements that are displaying differently between webkit and firefox. In firefox they are positioned correctly but in webkit they are sitting a few pixels too high and I would like to know what's causing this. Is it influenced by text css attributes or to do with positioning of a background image.
