Some help - browser and pages problems

Hi,

I am the administrator of this website : cre-se.net and I really have some problems right now.
what are the problems:
1) Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox does not show the background gradient, while when I am using Google Chrome it works properly.
2) I have a problem with the pages. The width of pages is less than it is normal and all content located in these pages has a link to the homepage. I did not set up one. In Internet Explorer the bug does not appear.

I hope you could help me!

Firefox width question - this is the simplest question you'll ever see, I'm sure!

Okay, so I'm just tooling around CSS and I've hit a problem that I cannot for the life of me figure out. I'm very new to it, so I'm sure the answer is actually quite simple, but I've been looking through other questions and online tutorials and have tried about a dozen different things, but nothing has worked. Here's my code - it's super-simple:

<HTML>
<HEAD>
<style type="text/css">
body {
	background-color: rgb(220,220,220);
	text-align: center;
	font-family: Verdana,arial;
	}

#container  {
	background-color: rgb(255,255,255);
	margin-left: auto;

Div Resizing Help

Hi all,

I am currently working on this page at http://www.executivetravellink.com/cruise-deals/

I'm just finally starting to learn divs after going old school with tables for many years. This is probably a very simple question, but does anyone know to re-size the width of each div to say be only be about half of the size and only be in the vertical center third of the page? That way I can create promo images to be shown on the right third of the page.

I am assuming that I would have to go into the CSS, which was created by someone else. The code for the div titled "box" is:

WTH is going on here?!?! 100% width layout text will not constrain.

I'm kinda new... not THAT new but this is the first time I've tried to do a layout where it appears the header and footer are 100% width, but the container have set widths. I have been messing with the code for days and have broken it back down to just bare basic code to try and figure it out. Check out the footer in red. The text won't wrap, just keeps on going even though the footer div is 960px wide. url= http://www.rockgonewired.com/nwko/index.php

@import url(<a href="http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Rokkitt" rel="nofollow">http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Rokkitt</a>);
