Hi there,

Does anyone know of some solid solutions to creating CSS dropdown menus (ie Suckerfish-type menus) that will work in both Safari 1.0, and if possible IE5/Mac?

I was thrilled to get the Suckerfish menus to work on FF, IE/PC, and Netscape/Mac....but, unfortunatly, I still have to support Safari 1.0 and IE5/Mac. I've seen some discussion on dropdowns and Safari 1.0, but I can't decipher if there is a solution or not. Any ideas/solutions or directions you point me in?

Safari 1.0, IE5/Mac and Dropdown menus

uh oh Shock . sounds a bit full-on trying to get one of those menu's working in IE for mac.

I honestly don't know if you can or not, will leave for someone else to confirm this.

just a thought:

What about restructuring your menu layout? Does it have to be a dropdown? If you must cater to all browsers and platforms then it could be a reasonable comprimise to make sure it works.

Some argue dropdowns are usability/accessability problems anyway.
